05/18/16 - Who Is This Man? - Jesus Heals a Boy with an Evil Spirit

None of us were meant to be possessed by a demon. We were meant to be living under the influence and power of the Holy Spirit of God. With Him, there is unlimited peace and joy. With Satan, there is confusion, dissension, disillusion, and a defeated attitude. These are not the character traits of a child of God.

Sinners are by nature blind. We are blind to the truths that God wants us to know. This is not medical blindness though; it is an unwillingness to see as God sees. We obviously know better. Let me inform you however, that blind eyes can cry. When the consequences of your rejection of God’s truth are made evident, the only reaction is tears of sorrow for willful disobedience.

Life circumstances are to draw us to Jesus. Come to Jesus in any state of mind. He will restore your hope, renew your strength, forgive your sins, heal your disease and save your soul.

Kingdom resources do not run out. We tend to forget who Jesus is and what He can do. We tend to overlook the fact that Jesus really cares for all of us. Satan is always trying to discredit God’s love for His children. I want you to be cognizant that God will do whatever is necessary to get to you and to be with you when you are in trouble.

With Jesus there is always the other side. If He wants to take you there, nothing is going to prevent you from reaching your destination. It doesn’t matter if He is rowing, holding the rudder or sleeping. You are going to make it. But you must make sure it is Jesus in your boat.

Jesus is not worshiped as God; He is endured or tolerated but not worshiped and obeyed. This is why there are so many that find themselves depressed, defeated, and disillusioned. They lack the peace of God and they yearn for the joy of the Spirit.

God declines to sit atop an organizational flowchart. He is the organization. He is not interested in being president of the board. He is the board. And life doesn’t work until everyone else sitting around the table in the boardroom of your heart is fired. He is God and there are no other applicants for the position. There are no partial gods, no honorary gods, no interim god, no assistants to the regional gods.
